Healthy & Fresh Hair? Make DIY Dry Shampoo!
Natural DIY cosmetics should be used by every woman. They deliver far better effects than drugstore products. You are aware of ingredients you use. Most of all, you are sure they won’t cause irritation. If you are curious about homemade beauty products and their effects, read on. Let’s learn how to make a dry shampoo.
Dry Shampoo – What Is It?
I guess nothing is going to beat such a good cosmetic. Dry shampoo works effectively and immediately. It keeps hair fresh, absorbs sebum excess and prevents oily scalp. The shampoo has antibacterial properties, soothes irritations and counteracts dandruff. We usually go for dry shampoos in emergency situations: no time for washing hair but we must meet friends or run some errands. Just spray the scalp, comb out hair and that’s it!
DIY Dry Shampoo
You need ¼ of corn flour, a few drops of an essential oil (choose the one that has antiseptic qualities) and an old makeup brush for the application. How to make a dry shampoo? Mix essential oil with corn flour. If your hair is dark, add a few teaspoons of cocoa. Pour the ready product to a clean container. How to use the dry shampoo? Take the old brush. Divide hair into smaller sections and apply the shampoo between them (on the scalp). Brush hair thoroughly after every application.
DIY Spray Dry Shampoo
Does a spray dry shampoo exist? Yes, of course. We will make it now! Prepare a cup of warm water, ¼ cup of corn flour and alcohol solution, a few drops of essential oil. Mix all ingredients and pour them into an atomiser bottle. Use whenever your hairdo needs refreshing.
